British Old Time Radio - Comedy - A Life of Bliss

A Life of Bliss, established on the 29th of July 1953. A new radio sitcom, introduced by the BBC. George Cole took a main role in the series as awkward, absent-minded bachelor David Bliss. The series deals with his life together with his sister Pamela Batten and his brother-in-law Robert Batten. Geoffrey Harrison, the writer of the series, was often late completing his scripts, sometimes he was still typing them at the recording sessions while the studio audience was waiting. This series ran for 118 episodes before it moved to television in the early 60s. – Link:
